At Hidden River Retrievers, we believe in responsible breeding practices that prioritize the health and well-being of our dogs. We are committed to producing happy and healthy Labrador puppies that will exceed the expectations great pets for families and individuals alike.

Who We Are
Hidden River Retrievers was officially established in 2019. Even though we have successfully been breeding labs for over 20 years, we felt it was time to share our experience, love and puppies with others. As time went on, we found that we have a gift in how we breed and raise Labradors. Hidden River Retrievers IS THE distinguished breeder of Labrador Retrievers. If you’re looking for the perfect addition to your family, then look no further. We go above and beyond the call of duty for our dogs and it shows not only with our in house dogs, but those we have produced throughout the years. We are Members of the Good Dog breeding society, AKC, Breeders with heart-AKC, Purina Pro Club and are always on top of the latest research and education of the breed. All of our Dam's carry the best possible OFA ratings & Clear Genetic Panels. Our Sires are required to be up to our standards when it comes to health testing and OFA's. We are distinguished breeders that please even the most discriminating dog lover. We are a small family operated breeder located outside of Angier, NC on 60 acres of secluded land that is perfect for our breeding business.
Why Choose Hidden River Retrievers?
All of our pups from birth to time to go to their new homes are monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week by us. We are a hands on, in house, small breeding operation that treats our animals in the most sanitary, loving, clean environment imagined. We treat all of our litters as if they were staying right here with us. We believe teaching socialization skills by voice, touch and sight as early as birth and continuing on as the eyes open is a very important asset to the program as it gives them early preparedness and skills for the future. Our puppy area is always clean and inviting to even the most sensitive client. All of our dogs are bred with careful genetic screening.

This is WHY we do what we do that sets us apart. For years, we’ve sought and dreamed to make sure each and every dog we produce exceeds all of our expectations. Each dog must be one that we would want for our personal pet. We also desire to exceed YOUR expectations in EVERY step of the process in finding your new canine family member. After all, this is a 10+ year decision, and not one to be taken lightly. Our reservations fill up quickly. If you are looking for a Fur-Ever friend, you need not look further. We do advertise on social media, however, we do not sell our pups through social media. We only offer our puppies through our partners at the AKC or though referrals. Please feel free to contact us through email, text or phone.
